Examples of my paint, fabrication, and finish work.
A converted planter. Clay was added to an existing face to create the likeness of Dante Alighieri. The empty head cavity was filled with news paper and covered with chicken wire. Hat and laurels were created out of muslin and faux plants. Based in white and dusted with gray spray paint. Hat and laurel created Tory Depew and Noelle Rasco respectfully.
An anatomical skeleton spray painted gold and then gold leafed. Set dressing for "Cymbeline" at Shakespeare in the Park
Blue foam carved with files and dremel and coated with Flexcoat. Painted with an assortment of spray paint.
Carved blue foam. Crumble top is shreds of blue foam. Seal with Foam Coat and painted with acrylic. Finished with Polyacrylic.
A commission. Imagine of eagle and text were wood burned. Above and below banners are carved wooden appliques. Stained with polyurethane and sealed with satin polycrylic.

Repaint and repair project for Field Station Dinosaur Park in Secaucus, NJ Skulls are fiberglass resin cases and were repaired with muslin coated in "goop" (powered joint compound and robo glue)
Finished with Special Walnut and sealed with Flat Polycrylic.

Cut out with bandsaw. Bowl of spoon was shaped with chisel and belt/disc sander. Designed in handle was carved using a dremel Gift
4 1/4" x 5 1/2" Sanded Burch ply for covers and wood burned design. Bound together with a coptic stitch. Gift
